Bill Evans’ Dance Company Takes the Stage
(2/20 to 2/21, 7:30 p.m.) Evans was the central figure in Seattle’s dance scene from 1975 to 1983, when his eponymous, nationally acclaimed, Seattle-based dance company toured all 50 states and collaborated with many key figures of the era. The 75-year-old choreographer’s current company will perform at Velocity Dance Center in what will surely be a history lesson and significant performance.

The International Dumpling Crawl
(2/20 and 2/27, 1 p.m.) Have chopsticks at the ready for the International Dumpling Crawl, which celebrates Asian culture in the best way: through cuisine. Wend your way on a mile-long route through the Chinatown/International District while snacking on offerings from Japan, Korea, Vietnam and China.

Kronos Quartet Performs Two World Premieres
(2/20, 8 p.m.) The legendary San Francisco–based ensemble that redefined the string quartet returns to Seattle to perform two world premieres by composers Ken Benshoof and Garth Knox as part of its “Fifty for the Future” series. Also on the bill is Beyond Zero 1914–1918, a quartet for film by composer Aleksandra Vrebalov and filmmaker Bill Morrison.
