Saturday (3/12, 12:30 p.m.) Watch Emerald Isle pride spread through the Emerald City as the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade snakes through downtown. Afterward, enjoy the craic—with food, crafts and music—at the Irish Week Festival at the Seattle Center and catch a flick at the Irish Reels Festival, which continues on Sunday.

Hello Kitty-themed Foods at Seattle Restaurants
(Through 3/18, times vary) Seven participating spots around town will offer special (and super cute), limited-edition themed food or beverage items as part of the Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt Seattle. Turns out H. Kitty is a bit of a foodie.

Prepare to Play in the Dirt at the Burke Museum
Saturday (3/12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Let the kids don their dinosaur getups as they dig and discover at Dino Day at the Burke Museum. See what paleontologists have uncovered in their local excavations and crack open fossils with remnants to take home. The range of hands-on activities will keep kids of all ages keenly occupied with learning.

Snag Your Tickets to Bob Dylan’s Summer Concert
Saturday (3/12, 10 a.m.) It’s official: Iconic folk-rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan–along with special guest Mavis Staples–will take the Chateau Ste. Michelle stage on June 4 at 7 p.m. as part of the winery’s popular Summer Concert Series. Tickets go on sale this Saturday and will undoubtedly sell out at rapid clip, so prep the plastic and get ready to scoop up a pair.
