Usually I’m letting you know that Wear Wednesday at W Seattle is featuring some fabulous designer, but this time I’m letting you know that I’m participating in it. On Wednesday, March 18, the style editors of the region’s glossy mags and lifestyle websites will be showcasing our favorite trends for spring. We’ll each have a rolling rack filled with what we’re feeling for the season, all available at local shops.

Honestly, I don’t often think in terms of trends, but I’m having fun with this task—and I have to admit that I’m loving bell bottom jeans right now, which I know were all over the street style scene at New York Fashion Week. Expect to a pair of those and whatever else catches my eye.

The event is free and runs from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Living Room of the W Seattle. Popular local style bloggers will also be on hand to share their take on spring and there will be happy hour prices on drinks and apps—sounds like a mighty fine time. See you there!

Tinsel, eggnog, mistletoe, and luggage

Travel lovers are the easiest people to buy for. Wrap a gift in old maps and they’ll spend hours deciphering the roadways and important coordinates. Put something inside the wrapping that will satiate their wanderlust, or encourage it, and you might be their next invitee to Paris.
