Thank you everyone for your fabulous entries. We loved seeing all the adorable photos of dogs, cats, bunnies, geckos and horses. It was difficult but we’ve picked three finalists. So if you haven’t heard from us, your fantastic pal is not headed for our cover. But don’t despair, there’s good chance your submission photo will show up in the issue. Look for our pet story in the February issue, on sale January 22, 2015.

It may sound incredibly far off in the future (hey, we work three months in advance!), but we’re looking for one sweet, photogenic and way cool pet to feature on the cover of our February 2015 issue, which will dive into all things pets. Our contest is open to all kinds of cherished creatures, so that includes cats, dogs, ferrets, turtles, tarantulas, iguanas, teacup pigs, or basically any other pet that is able to attend a photo shoot.

How to enter? Simply Instagram a photo of your pet using the hashtag #Seattlemagcoverpet and tell us why your four-legged (or eight-legged…or no-legged) friend should be our cover star. If you don’t have Instagram, email your submission to [email protected]. Deadline for submissions is November 14, so get to snapping a shot of your adorable pal posthaste.

Please note: We reserve the right to post submissions online or in the magazine.

This could be Fluffy! Or Rover!
