Seattle designer Luly Yang wants guests of her elegant shop, located downtown on Fourth Avenue beside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, to celebrate art, design and fashion. Appropriately, the brand’s first foray into home goods—a candle dubbed Blue Citrine ($65), scented with notes of citrus verbena and ginger—has echoes of the calm and clarity that come from a visit to her emporium. Entering Luly Yang’s boutique has always been “evocative of a relaxing visit to a spa,” she says.

Yang, who is best known for her bridal and evening gown designs, says the double-wicked candle represents partnership, marriage and the strength of a pair, but she hopes the candle appeals to more than just the affianced. “I hope that everyone will enjoy this at home,” says Yang. “It’s a great accompaniment for a soak in the bath, a moment of relaxation with family or just a quiet moment with your favorite music and book and a cup of tea.” Consider our hearts warmed—and well lit. Luly Yang, downtown, 1218 Fourth Ave.; 206.623.8200; lulyyang.com
