Where to go for Easter Brunch and Dinner

Our suggestions for Seattle-area restaurants where you can enjoy an all-out feast this Easter

Sugary treats, egg hunts and pastel colors. Easter is on Sunday, March 27. If you haven’t already made reservations for brunch with the whole family, now’s the time. We’ve done some of the research for you, so here’s a list of our suggestions.

Copperleaf Restaurant (18525 36th Avenue S., SeaTac)

This brunch, hosted at the Cedarbrook Lodge, is a buffet of fresh Northwest favorites, much of which were sourced directly from Lummi Island. Grab yourself a plate of smoked salmon, mussels, prawns or crab (snow or king), then hit the carving station for prime rib and honey roasted ham. Load up on breakfast classics like eggs, Applewood smoked bacon, sausage and made-to-order omelets.

Not a brunch fan? No problem. Try Copperleaf’s Easter Celebration Tasting Menu for a delightful five-course dinner instead.

Sunday, March 27, only. Brunch (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) is $59 for adults and $29.50 for kids 16 and under. Reservations required, call 206.214.4282. Plenty of open tables after 1:30 p.m., limited before.

Salty’s on Alki Beach (1936 Harbor Ave. S.W.)

This all-you-can-eat buffet features an array of Northwest seafood including Dungeness crab legs, Alaskan snow crab, black tiger prawns, Puget Sound steamer clams, seafood chowder and more. A pasta station, salad, seasonal fruit and plenty of dessert options will also be available.

Saturday, March 26,and Sunday, March 27. Reservations are required by phone at 206.937.1600.

Saturday hours: first seating 9 a.m. and last seating 1:30 p.m. Adults $68; ages 9-13 $29.99; ages 5-8 $19.99; age 4 and under free.

Sunday hours: first seating 8 a.m. and last seating 7 p.m. Adults $73; ages 9-13 $29.99; ages 5-8 $19.99; age 4 and under free.

Tulalip Resort Casino (10200 Quil Ceda Blvd., Tulalip)

Tulalip Casino is offering two brunch buffets, one hosted in the Orca Ballroom and one in its Eagles Buffet space. Blackfish Wild Salmon Grill and the Tulalip Bay Restaurant and Cedars Café are all offering Easter dinners. Take your pick.

Orca Ballroom: Sunday only from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. $42 for adults and $22 for children ages 4 to 12. Dial 360.716.6888.

Nearing capacity, book quickly.

Eagles Buffet: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. $24.95 for adults and $13.95 for children ages 2 to 10.

First come, first served.

Volunteer Park Cafe (1501 17th Ave E.)

Volunteer Park Cafe will be celebrating Easter Sunday with brunch and a special dinner. The restaurant will be open as usual for Sunday brunch at 8:30 a.m. on March 27 on a first come, first served basis. At 6 p.m., the café will host a special version of its famous Sunday Suppers with a menu featuring spring ingredients. Dinner is $45 per person, and reservations are required. Call the cafe at 206.328.3155 or book online here.

There are no reservations left for brunch, but dinner has plenty of room as of press time.

Agrodolce (709 N. 35th St.)

Maybe you feel like something a little less traditional for brunch this Easter. Agrodolce is bringing the bold flavors of Southern Italy to its three-course brunch menu this year, with specials including wild mushroom scramble with Mama Lil’s coulis and provolone picante. Wash it all down with bottomless–yes bottomless–mimosas.

Cafe Flora (2901 E. Madison St.)

With an extensive vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free brunch menu, Café Flora is perfect for those looking to enjoy an alternative Easter brunch meal. Berry French toast and huevos rancheros are just two of the many plant-based options that will be served.

Golden Beetle (1744 N.W. Market St.)

How about trying something a bit more exotic for brunch this year? Golden Beetle will be bringing the flavors of the eastern Mediterranean to its brunch, complete with three courses featuring delicacies like spiced donuts and braised pork shank hash.

Altstadt (209 1st Ave. S.)

Altstadt is inviting guests to celebrate Easter with a little German flair. On the menu: seven-herb soup, herb-crusted lamb loin and potato dumplings. For dessert, Altstadt will be serving chocolate eggs with Bavarian cream, lemon curd and strawberry dust.

Sunday, March 27, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., $45 per person, optional $20 beer tasting, reservations required.

Monday, March 28, from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
