Popular Night Market is Back in Business

Festive hallmark of the Chinatown-International District returns this weekend

The Chinatown-International District’s annual Night Market is back.

After its cancellation last year because of rising costs and decreased sponsorship, the popular market returns from 1 p.m-9 p.m. this Saturday. Earlier this year, Amazon pledged $250,000 to ensure the Market will continue through 2026. It first began in 2006.

This year’s street festival features more than 100 vendors and cultural performances, and is open to all ages. Visitors will take to the streets to mingle and soak in the district’s dynamic culture as live musicians perform throughout the day.

Amazon is partnering with grocer Uwajimaya to donate 75,000 pounds of food to local food banks and social services agencies, including Asian Counseling and Referral Services, Hopelink, and the West Seattle Food Bank.

Amazon also donated 127,000 pounds of food at the Bumbershoot Festival over Labor Day weekend.
