World-class chefs descend on Tom Douglas’ Hot Stove Society

Philadelphia's Michael Solomonov leads the pack with an April 6 class on Israeli cooking

Looking to expand your culinary repertoire this spring? Consider a class from one of these internationally-renown chefs:

Michael Solomonov: This James Beard Award-winning chef of Philadelphia’s Zahav is the subject of a new documentary, In Search of Israeli Cuisine, screening at the Seattle Jewish Film Festival on April 7. Solomonov will attend the screening, but if you can’t score tickets you can catch his class and get a signed copy of his new cookbook, Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking, on April 6 at Hot Stove Society.

Einat Admony: Owner of highly-regarded Manhattan restaurant, Balaboosta, Admony is a James Beard Award finalist and two-time winner on the Food Network’s Chopped. She’ll demonstrate her famous cauliflower recipe on May 15 at the Stroum Jewish Community Center with a soon-to-be announced appearance at Hot Stove Society.

Joan Nathan: A culinary anthropologist and regular contributor to The New York Times, Nathan has published 10 cookbooks, including The New American Cooking, and will teach a class about Passover recipes from around the world on April 16 at Hot Stove Society.
