Alexandria Rossoff New Store
Where: 1304 4th Avenue
What: Alexandria Rossoff, local jewelry historian and purveyor of antique jewels and rare finds, opened its new street-level store in one of Seattle’s most centralized shopping areas, Rainier Square. The new space, which is approximately 500 square feet, is decorated with gold, black and neutral tones and features a modernist design juxtaposed with the elegance of Old Hollywood. This move signifies a milestone for Rossoff, who has been working in a studio on the block for the past 27 years. She hopes the new brick-and-mortar store will create “a fully personalized jewelry experience,” catering to private transactions and passersby alike. This new location showcases a variety of pieces, including historic antique jewelry and engagement rings from the Gregorian, Victorian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Retro, and Mid-Century eras.
