After an exhausting day spent swiping the Amex at the nearby Bellevue Collection, stop by the new Recoop Spa (925 Bellevue Way NE; 425.429.3323; recoopspa.com) for a heaping helping of R&R in the comfort of delightfully detailed environs. Open since May, the chic spa pairs raw concrete walls with very now barn doors in treatment rooms, sophisticated pedicure chairs (no overstuffed, awkward vibrating seats here) and rustic hints throughout (stoneware Mason jars, wainscoting). “The decor I chose,” says Recoop owner Grace Hackerman, “draws from some of the experiences I had when I lived in Texas: a little rustic, a little modern, but a whole lot of fun.” We recommend starting with a 60-minute ($105) deep-tissue massage (trust us on this one: ask for Marius), then mosey into the nail studio for a milk and almond pedi ($65/60 minutes), during which your tootsies are soaked in a hot almond and milk bath and massaged with sweet almond oil. Guaranteed to put a twinkle on your toes and a spring in your step.
