Never in my pre-homeownership days did I think I’d be excited to go to the hardware store for gallons of paint or to browse pre-hung solid core interior doors (in black, please). But I am. And I do. And it’s glorious.

Now that we’re basically one chunky cable-knit sweater away from winter, Porch.com has again graced us with its helpful monthly maintenance guide, rife with weekend chores like laying mulch (oh what fun!), cleaning garden tools, scheduling a good gutter cleaning and calling a heating service pro, all in order to get us prepped for the cold months ahead.
