I’ve already begun planning and prepping for the feast I’m going to cook on Thanksgiving. Kidding! I’ll be ordering room service at the Willows in Woodinville on turkey day. (You know me better than that.)

But, there are a host of other household-related chores and activities that should be on the docket for the month of November. To help you (and me) out in that department, Eastlake-based home improvement biz Porch.com puts together this Monthly Maintenance Guide, which highlights specific dates in the month when it’s a good idea to, say, insulate your outdoor pipes. It also comes stocked with helpful tips. In this month’s edition, we get the 4-1-1 on what to do with Thanksgiving leftovers, which in my case will simply be: dial housekeeping.
