!–paging_filter–pa href=”http://\/\/staging.seattlemag.com/bellevue-collection“Bell Square/a is on fire right now./p
pLululemon has opened its first a href=”http://www.ivivva.com/” target=”_blank”Ivivva athletica/a, with a focus on young women (aka, tweens and teens), with a range of “cross-functional athletic apparel” according to the release. Shoppers can expect the same fabrics and details found at Lululemon, with a nod towards dance-inspired styles (leotards and shrugs), as well as yoga wear and pieces for running that can go from the track meet to the street and back again./p

pLocal shirt-maker, a href=”http://www.farinaz.com/” target=”_blank”Farinaz Taghavi/a, is the most recent ship-jumper from The Bravern to land at Bellevue Square. This designer, who once designed for Union Bay, is known for her excellently tailored shirts, sewn in Vancouver, BC and made from fine Italian fabrics. Customers rave about the fit of her shirts, which they claim make them look and feel amazing./p
pBellevue Square’s a href=”http://www.freepeople.com/” target=”_blank”Free People/a opened in 2008, but moved this August to a space that is triple the size of their original store. That means three times the amount of Boho Glam inventory for shoppers./p
pAnd finally, it’s almost time for a href=”http://www.bellevuecollection.com/FashionWeek/” target=”_blank”Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection/a. From September 25 through the 29, downtown Bellevue is the site for runway shows from Vogue, Nordstrom, GQ and Seven Salon, featuring fashion from Bellevue Collection retailers. It’s always a great time and the team at Collection puts on some stellar productions. Be on the lookout for a post dedicated to this week of events soon./p
p**Breaking news: a href=”http://www.intermixonline.com/home.do” target=”_blank”Intermix/a is set to open at Bell Square on November 1. This nationwide mini-chain carries a mix (get it?) of high-end designers, from Helmut Lang to Zac Posen, and groups merchandise by trend rather than designer./p
