Deluxe Junk (self-described as “Fremont’s little vintage department store”) is closing.

As Fremont Universe reports, owner David Marzullo has decided to retire. It’s bittersweet, since the vintage shop is such a landmark, but the good news is they are wrapping up 34 years of business with an epic, blow-out sale, including an outdoor sale this weekend. Hey, want the 5th Avenue Theatre’s old carpet? It’s up for grabs! As are lamps, shades, clothing, records and book and surely much more.

Open daily until May 31, 11:30a.m.-5:30p.m. 3518 Fremont Place N, 206.634.2733; more info on Deluxe Junk’s Facebook page
