Don't splurge on pay-per-view when these bars have you covered.

This Saturday evening the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion clashes with an undefeated boxing world champ in what is one of the most anticipated and mismatched boxing matches in history.
Conor McGregor, a mixed martial arts star, has never boxed professionally, while Floyd Mayweather comes from a boxing family, has been a champion in multiple weight classes and holds a record of 49-0 with 26 knockouts.
An event like this demands a crowd (and a hefty pay-per-view pricetag). Fortunately, these Seattle-area bars and restaurants are showing the fight for less.
The Uber Tavern in Greenwood is offering a rare chance to watch the fight with no cover charge. With a deal like that, expect space to go quickly when coverage starts at 4 p.m., even though the main event is not 6 p.m. Free admission, 21-plus; Uber Tavern, 7517 Aurora Ave. N, uberbier.com
Pioneer Square’s Fuel Sports has already sold out of all its reserved seating and warns its standing room is selling quickly, too. The sports bar might be the place to go if you want to be surrounded by legions of other fans. $20, 21-plus; Fuel Sports, 164 S Washington St.; fuelseattle.com
If the club is more your scene, check out Aston Manor in the Industrial District. With the fight starting at 6 p.m., the club’s opening early for the occasion. $20, 21-plus, 2946 1st Ave. S.; astonmanorsea.com
Sam’s Tavern in South Lake Union offers over-the-top creations like the mini burger on their bloody Mary in a perfect pairing with a fight that promises to be wacky and absurd. $20; Sam’s Tavern, 400 9th Ave. N.; samstavernseattle.com
Despite the old-timey name, Shingletown Saloon is a modern Ballard pub suitable to gather and watch two men beat the life out of each other. $30, 21-plus, 2016 NW Market St.; shingletownballard.com
For Eastsiders, Dub Pub in Kirkland promises the chance to catch the action on its 55 screens. If reserving a table, they ask that you be there an hour before the action begins. $15 cash only, 21-plus, 11516 124 Ave. NE, Kirkland
