This rare one day retrospective features the wide ranging and often fun work of the Blahslavian artist Sergie Latrino (pronounced Latrine-oh).

Is it serious? Is it art? Who knows. But this showing of paintings, sculpture, photography and other works of art is fun. This event includes a number of participatory pieces where attendees automatically create the art or can manipulate it. A leading proponent of Thoughtless Conceptualism, Sergei Latrino places ideas over aesthetics but insists they not be taken too seriously. As he once noted, "Even the most thoughtless ideas can make you think." This may be Latrino's only Seattle show and it's for one night only as part of Pioneer Square's First Thursday gallery shows.
