I’m a baker, but I understand that most people who are savory cooks—i.e., the kind of person who can roast a turkey without it being simultaneously blackened and raw, ahem—choose to order their Thanksgiving pies on the outside. Well, hurry! We’re closing in on the last day to order… Here’s where to call, for all your pie needs:

Seattle Cookie Counter
This new Greenwood shop started as a vegan ice cream truck, but it turns out they bake great vegan pies, too. Order the “surprise pie” if you don’t care what you end up with and save a few bucks.
Pies: Pumpkin ($28), pecan ($32), caramel apple ($28), apple berry ($28), surprise pie ($22). Some available gluten-free.
Order: Order online by Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Volunteer Park Café
What’s that? You need a lunch tomorrow? Swing by and get the excellent BLT (plus a cookie, duh) and order your pies while you’re at it.
Pies: Organic pumpkin ($34), organic apple ($34), chocolate pecan ($34).
Order: Call 206.328.3155 by Thursday, Nov. 17.

Coyle’s Bakeshop
Rachel Coyle can do no wrong when it comes to butter and sugar. Her Greenwood shop’s Thanksgiving special order menu doesn’t stop at pies—order a bake-at-home version of her excellent cream scones, cranberry sauce, or parker house rolls.
Pies: Winter luxury pumpkin pie ($32), pecan pie with bourbon and dark chocolate ($35), apple galette ($28).
Order: Email [email protected] according to the instructions here by Saturday, Nov. 19

A La Mode
There may be no better pieman in town than Chris Porter; pick up your pies from the original Phinney location or the new West Seattle café.
Pies: Holiday pumpkin pie ($29), apple and ginger pear pie ($29), chocolate-caramel pecan tart ($29), marionberry hazelnut pie ($29).
Order: Place your order online by Sunday, Nov. 20.

Grand Central Bakery
The prices change slightly depending on location, so you’ll want to call your nearest bakery to ask about prices. Don’t miss the U-Bake pies, which you may be able to pass off as homemade.
Pies: Pumpkin pie, apple pie, marionberry pie, bourbon pecan pie.
Order: If you’re near Eastlake, you can reach that location at 206.957.9505 by Monday, Nov. 21.

Pure Pies
Have a dinner guest with a whole lot of dietary restrictions? This spinoff from Thrive follows the same principles—expect the pies here to be gluten-free, raw, vegan, low-glycemic, and mostly organic.
Pies: Pumpkin eclipse with coconut whipped cream ($59.99).
Order: Call 206.334.7111 by Monday, Nov. 21.

Sugar Plum
Speaking of vegan, Makini Howell is the resident expert—her pies are as good as her mac ‘n’ yease.
Pies: Apple ($18), sweet potato ($18), traditional pecan ($18), bourbon chocolate pecan ($21). Any can be made gluten-free for an additional $7.
Order: Email [email protected] by Monday, Nov. 21.

Columbia City Bakery
There are cakes and breads and even some great seasoned stuffing mix, but the pies at this south Seattle staple are a necessity.
Pies: Pumpkin ($26), apple ($26), pecan ($28).
Order: Call 206.723.6023 by Monday, Nov. 21.

Macrina Bakery
These guys are making three varieties of pumpkin pie! Pick up some apps, too—brie en croute, fig and olive tapenade, and smoked trout spread—for guests to nosh on while they wait for the main event.
Pies: Maple apple pie ($32), Macrina’s pumpkin pie ($27), pecan streusel pumpkin pie ($28), brandied orange pecan pie ($35), pumpkin cheesecake ($38).
Order: Call your nearest café by Monday, Nov. 21.

Pie
Procrastinators take note: this Fremont mini-pie shop will be open 9am-noon on Thanksgiving day for all last-minute panicky types.
Pies: Classic apple, rosemary caramel pear, pecan, berry awesome, pumpkin, key lime. Some available gluten-free.
Order: Call 206.436.8590 or email [email protected] by Tuesday, Nov. 22.
