Must Hit the Hill
Capitol Hill Block Party

(7/21-7/23)
Two outdoor stages and three indoor venues are set up within six Capitol Hill blocks that encompass neighborhood restaurants, bars, resident art galleries and independent craft booths. Guests 21 and older at one of our favorite summer festivals will have access to any of the three—count ’em—three beer gardens. People from all over the city—and well beyond—are invited to get down to the sounds of bands such as Diplo, Run the Jewels, Wolf Parade, Flor, Julie Byrne, Lizzo, Angel Olsen, Lord Huron, Danny Brown, Naked Giants, Thundercat, Zoolab and others. Times and locations vary, $60-$300, capitolhillblockparty.com

Must Bite Big
Bite of Seattle

(7/21-7/23) Three days. Four hundred thousand people. More than 60 restaurants and specialty food companies. Craft beer and wine. Chef demos, musical performances and likely a mad case of heartburn followed by a next-day hangover. All in the shadow of the Space Needle. Bite of Seattle laughs at your little neighborhood street fest. This mega food fest can be intimidating, so peep our Bite of Seattle survival guide before heading out. Times vary, free, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St.; biteofseattle.com
