FACE, one of Seattle’s best fashion shows, and philanthropic events, is happening this Saturday, November 17 at Batch 206 Distillery. Since 2007, FACE, which stands for Fashion, Auction, Compassion, Event, has raised funds for the Seattle chapter of the Sunflower Children, an organization that financially supports impoverished children around the world. Our local chapter is helmed by a group of fashion industry professionals, including TCM Models owner Terri Morgan, who styles the show and whose gorgeous models walk in it.

This year’s fashion sponsors are Butch Blum, Canopy Blue, David Lawrence and Sway & Cake, so you know there’s going to be some fine fashion on the runway that night.

Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door.  Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Want to know more? Here’s a behind-the-scenes video of what went into planning this year’s FACE.

Tinsel, eggnog, mistletoe, and luggage

Travel lovers are the easiest people to buy for. Wrap a gift in old maps and they’ll spend hours deciphering the roadways and important coordinates. Put something inside the wrapping that will satiate their wanderlust, or encourage it, and you might be their next invitee to Paris.
