2. No, not Great Scott, but Great Jones. The Great Jones Gallery just opened in an historic artist space in the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Cofounders Timothy Rysdyke and Leah St. Lawrence say they plan to offer “partner-driven experiences and community sponsored events” along with curated collections from local artists.

3. The Tread Map App helps plan your outdoor excursion. The app, which will soon be available statewide after a hugely successful pilot project last summer, provides real-time trail and recreational data, including updates and advisories, weather conditions, photos and other valuable information to help plan hikes, bike rides and horseback riding trips.

4. Get your sweat on at City Sweats, an infrared sauna studio and spa, “sweating” in Bellevue, Madison Park, Wallingford and West Seattle. City Sweats isn’t the only infrared sauna in Seattle, but it’s perhaps the hippest. Scientists say infrared saunas have many health benefits, including increased blood flow, improved circulation and clearer skin.
