When my dad had cancer eleven years ago, Gilda’s Club was there for him and that support made him happy. It was that simple. When we were there, he was happy, and that was all that mattered, so I’m forever grateful to this organization for that and those memories and like to do whatever I can to support them.

On Thursday, June 13, Gilda’s Club is hosting their 16th annual Surviving with Style designer fashion show and luncheon at the Westin Seattle with cancer survivors dressed in fashion created by local designers (including Tina Witherspoon, Cameron Levin, Carole McClellan and many, many more awesome local peeps) strutting their stuff on the runway and sharing their stories of hope and triumph.

It’s bound to be an inspiring event. Hope to see you there.

Travel lovers are the easiest people to buy for. Wrap a gift in old maps and they’ll spend hours deciphering the roadways and important coordinates. Put something inside the wrapping that will satiate their wanderlust, or encourage it, and you might be their next invitee to Paris.
