Meet Local Artisans—and Snag a Sweet Mom’s Day Gift—at Le Objects for the Home on Saturday
By Shannon O'Leary May 7, 2014
This Saturday (5/10), 6 to 9 p.m., Le Objects for the Home (Georgetown, 1226 S Bailey St.; 206.604.4958) corrals Eric Mendelsohn of Time Beat Clocks and Lisa Deffacio of Fern Heath Design (see her “fleur” works above) as part of its “Meet the Maker” series in conjunction with the Georgetown Art Attack. As well as the chance to mingle with these makers, it’s a great opportunity to snag a lovely last-minute Mom’s Day gift. (Ask about the special Mom’s Day gift with $50 purchase promotion.) In addition to some specially featured funky bike mounts by artist Dina Curtis, you can peruse the shop’s usual charming array—decorative pillows, geodes, hanging terrarariums—and newly expanded sweet stock—from Linnea Lights sea salt candles ($32) to Formulary 55 soaps and bath salts ($9 and up).
