Kids know a good thing when they see it. This is the philosophy of Brinca Dāda (brincadada.com), an innovative toy company helmed by Queen Anne dad and toy expert Doug Rollins, who focuses on updating classic toys into products that talk up to children. Brinca’s modernist dollhouses, which range from $149 to $599, are designed by New York–based architect Tim Boyle, and take their angular concrete and glass cues from Neutra, De Stijl and Tadao Ando. The furniture (sold separately) riffs on midcentury classics with a nod to a clean, contemporary sensibility that would make the Eameses proud. This is one toy you won’t mind cluttering up the living room.
