Whim W’him X-Posed at Cornish Playhouse

(5/29 to 5/31, times vary) Former PNB dancer Olivier Wevers directs his recently formed company in X-Posed, featuring three new pieces: one by Seattle’s edgy Kate Wallich; one by French choreographer Manuel Vignoulle; and one by Wevers himself, exploring what’s unfiltered, raw and real.

Sriracha Night at Safeco Field

Thursday (5/28, 7:10 p.m.) The Seattle Mariners take on the Cleveland Indians for this year’s Sriracha Night at Safeco Field. Expect the hot stuff in spades, including Mariners hot dogs topped with Sriracha-infused cream cheese, pizza by the slice with a Sriracha-based tomato sauce and deep-fried macaroni and cheese balls with a side of Sriracha ranch dipping sauce.

Hugo House Literary Series Closes with “One Hour”

Friday (5/29, 7:30 p.m.) The final event in this year’s Literary Series, wherein Hugo House invites writers to compose new work around a theme, “One Hour” will reveal the strange way time can warp and wend beyond a clock’s boundaries. Featuring fiction writers Meg Wolitzer (The Interestings), Justin Torres (We the Animals) and Amelia Gray (Gutshot), with live music by Abi Grace

Schai Trunk Show at Baby & Co.

(5/29 and 5/30, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Seattle designer Suk Chai will highlight pieces (think angular blouses, metallic skirts) from her spring/summer 2015 collection at contemporary downtown boutique Baby & Co. Chai will preview her fall/winter 2015 line and share inspiration behind the collection.

Leo Saul Berk’s Sculptures at the Frye Art Museum

(5/30 to 9/6, times vary) Sculptor Leo Saul Berk will debut his complete body of work in The Uncertainty of Enclosure, featuring pieces based on his architecturally significant childhood home, the Ford House. Party it up at the free opening reception on Friday, May 29 from 8 to 10 p.m.
