SoulCycle + Target Coming to Seattle, Warby Parker Launches Spring Collection

I know it’s only January, but I am beyond ready for spring. So when luxe eyewear retailer Warby Parker sent an announcement for its new circus-inspired spring 2016 collection–officially launching today–I was itching to write about it.
This particular bunch of frames (starting at $95) is crafted from acetate and features bright and bold colors like a new punchy Maraschino red or brilliant Peacock green, as well as the ever popular Canton blue and peachy Bellini. Expect three new silhouettes this time around including Dorset, Kensett and Burroughs, which feature “rounded browlines and squared-off lenses.” The clear Haskell frame dabbles in detailing from WP’s Concentric Collection, meaning it’s outfitted with an inner ring in one of three colors: Blue Jay, Manzanita and Maple.

WP’s Seattle annex store (the first-ever location here) opened last October in Fremont, but if you’re not feeling an in-person try-on sesh, there’s always the home try-on option.
Next up: Target has partnered with New York-based indoor cycling empire SoulCycle for a 10-city tour and pop-up shop brimming with SoulCycle x Target workout gear. From January 22 to 24, the tour will stop here in Seattle and will feature three days worth of events, including free classes taught by certified SoulCycle instructors. And from pop-ups to pop-ins, Seattle-based department store Nordstrom has launched its latest Olivia Kim-curated Pop-In Shop featuring Danish design company, Hay Mini Market. Expect modern products with plenty of pedigree, including gorgeous gold-tone scissors, wooden desk accessories and porcelain cups and vases, all “connected by the unpretentious, modern aesthetic of its Copenhagen-based founder Rolf and Mette Hay.” Hay’s coveted curios are still relatively new to the U.S. (the brand has a loyal following in Europe) and debuted last August at New York’s Museum of Modern Art store in SoHo.
