Her summer capsule collection, which debuted to the industry in February, consists of two dresses and three tops, all in Modal, which is a lovely, soft knit that has a bit of give, and inspired by the hoodie, something that de Rosairo became smitten with as an exchange student to the States from her native New Zealand in 2003./p
p“Just like Diane von Furstenberg invented the wrap dress, de Rosairo will be known for re-imagining the hoodie,” says the designer, what wants to make it accessible for the modern woman to “incorporate it into her contemporary wardrobe.”/p
pSwing by the W from 5 to 7 p.m., meet the designer, nibble on some Fran’s chocolates and check out this emerging designer’s new work./p
