You may think your cat has everything she needs: a catnip-filled mouse toy, a climbing tower and a basket to curl up in. But if she doesn’t have a poster, well, she’s missing out, and you should feel guilty.

That’s according to Olympia artist Mo Golden and game designer Ross Cowman, who launched Inspurration! Posters for Cats (inspurration.com; $10 for eight posters) late last fall. The images—a sunset at the end of a cobblestone street, a starry sky—are meant to soothe kitties, while the messages (“Reach for the stars; you’ll at least make it up to the counter”) put owners in a cat-loving mood. “I’m no psychologist, but I think it’s a great way to remind both cats and their people to keep living the good life,” says Golden. Cowman and Golden live it up with their elderly art-aficionada cat, Lillian.

The purrfect touch? Golden offers personal online consultations to help you find the right spot for your favorite feline’s poster.
