Seattle is among the most profitable teams to bet on

If gambling’s your thing, the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks have got you covered. Literally.
Gaming experts at Gamdom analyzed moneyline odds (the straight-up outcome of a game with no point spread) for every NFL team the past two regular seasons, and found that the Hawks are the fifth-most profitable team in the league to bet on. Only Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Detroit, and San Francisco fared better.
Though the Seahawks barely scratched out a .500 win percentage (18-16 over the 2022 and 2023 seasons), a $100 bet on every game according to the moneyline would have returned a profit of $277.58, or $2,077.58 overall. Of course, you’d have to bet against the Seahawks in many of those games to win.
Sports betting became legal in Washington state in September 2021, but is allowed only in casinos. In other words, you can’t use an app like DraftKings or MGM.
The Hawks open the 2024 regular season at Lumen Field Sept. 8 against the Denver Broncos.
