Sugarfina candy boutique launches at Downtown Seattle Nordstrom

Beverly-Hills based candy boutique also hits Alderwood Nordstrom on April 29

If your idea of candy involves two guys named Mike and Ike, get ready to have your mind blown.

Beverly Hills-based candy boutique, Sugarfina, make premium caramels, chocolates and gummies sourced from artisan candy makers around the world. And they’re setting up a permanent little space – not a full-fledged boutique like the one in the Vancouver Nordstrom – but a home nonetheless in the downtown Seattle Nordstrom – fourth floor by the cafe – this Friday, April 8. Alderwood Mall will follow with another Sugarfina locale on April 29, on the second floor of that Nordstrom store.

What makes Sugarfina so good? Sure, they still use corn syrup, but they use natural ingredients, like carrot and black currant, to give their beautiful candies their vibrant colors and cut no corners when looking for the best. As such, gummies hail from the Bavarian region of Germany, where they were born. Hazelnuts come from the Piedmont region of Italy. Kumquats and cherries hail from the sun-kissed Greek Isles. You can the idea.

Everything is sooo tasty and looks beautiful in their signature clear cubes ($7-$8) and customizable bento boxes ($25-$62) with the baby blue and gold seal. Yes, great as a Mother’s Day gift, hint hint.

Seattle will carry 54 different flavors of candy, from gummies and caramels to chocolates. Among our favorites, so far: Champagne Bears (infused with Dom Perignon, natch), Bourbon Marshmallows, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Birthday Cake Caramels, and Apple Frogs.
